Wedding Favors

The perfect way to thank your guests for coming to your big day is by giving them gifts, wedding favors. What seems to be just a little thing is actually the one that takes much of your time and effort after all. I realize that what you give to your guests is a reflection of who you are. Your wedding favor can leave a lasting impression to your wedding, to you and your partner. I hate to think that some wedding favors could get thrown away or left behind or could be placed in an old cabinet no one ever bothered to look at, after spending so much time, effort and money on it. So what's pressuring me these days? Fabulous favor ideas! I want it to be beautiful but not expensive. I want it to be something useful. Something edible would also be nice, something that your guests would find it hard to trash. All in all, I want it to be something worthwhile. I’ve spent so much time looking for the right wedding favor suited for my motif and for my theme and of course not compromising the budget. I’ve been to a bridal fair in Marco Polo, and I’ve run my eyes over a lot of beautiful favors displayed. Beautiful right?

Glad I took pictures. Most of them are just ceramic decors and cost around 70 pesos and up. And I thought it's impractical. I went to department stores in Colon, Ayala, and SM and also in different bridal boutiques, but I haven’t found the one that doesn’t hurt my pocket. I've eyed glass decors also, but a small one already cost 90 pesos and up. Where can we find fabulous favors that cost 20-40 pesos these days? Well, my mom did one heck of a job. She went to a Taiwanese store in Colon. We didn’t know they actually have lots of good stuff there and are very affordable too. You can also get discounts when you buy in bulk. Some are similar to the ones I saw in some bridal boutiques and bridal fair I’ve been to. Hmmm. Maybe they’re getting their supplies there. Various favors available cost around 20-40 pesos. The material and designs are also classy. You just have to make sure when you get there, they have new stuff displayed. My mom and I went there on a Sunday and they were just unpacking new arrivals. Such a good timing!
